Planet Hulk Review
Plot: The heroes of Earth have imprisoned Hulk on a ship and blasted him towards a planet with no intelligent life as a last resort. Needless to say when Hulk awakens, he isn't exactly thrilled. He than proceeds to destroy the ship, causing it stray off course into a black hole. After crash landing, Hulk is captured and forced to fight in battles to the death.
Review: I never read the Planet Hulk comics, only Civil War (which takes place during these events) and the fantastic sequel World War Hulk, so I can't verify how accurate this movie was to the comics, but since it is from Marvel Animation I can assume it is. I really enjoyed the story of Hulk going from loner and monster, into a hero and the evolution of his relationship with the Warbound. The battles were what you'd hope to see in the live action movies. The voice cast was spot on. I really would advise caution, this is more for the older fans. Heads exploding, a particular scene involving an atomic bomb and a child, not stuff I consider a problem but I don't know how parents would react. I really hope this leads to some Civil War animated flicks and than WWH 7.5/10
Best Line:
Beta Ray Bill- Hulk I know of you, the halls of Asgard echo with tales of your rage
Hulk- They ain't seen nothing yet!
Chillin'
