Great Academy awards this year...loved Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin as hosts and big congrats to Kathryn Bigelow for being the first female director to win at the Oscars. Followed her work for awhile and she completely deserved it.

This week i watched Last House On The Left remake, Paranormal Activity, UP (blu-ray), Iron-man (blu-ray), Transformers (blu-ray), The Crazies remake, Moon (blu-ray), Carriers, and Surrogates. not too shabby me thinks :)

Watched The Last House On The Left Remake and gotta tell ya that it's pretty good. it was still brutal, the acting was pretty good, the story although similar to the original, goes a bit further with the revenge plot and it works really well. Wes craven was a big part of this remake as a producer and it shows cause the film takes great care to respect the original film and try and do it justice and go a bit further without losing any of its strengths. Overall i'm surprised it was this good and definetely worth a watch.

Rented both Paranormal Activity and Last house on the left remake, a friend at work let me borrow Up, another friend had me borrow a couple dvds to show off how good they look on blu-ray and another gave me 24: Season 1 to watch...so lets just say i have a shit load to watch, wheres the peanut m&m's and dr. pepper when you need em :p

Holy Shit! Just finished watching Paranormal Activity and that movie creeped me out. The ending just fucked me up! Don't watch at night just like i friggin did, this movie will mess you up but good :)

getting ready to watch Paranormal activity for the first time. i hear its suppose to be the new Blair Witch...wait a minute is that even a good thing?!

Was not impressed by the new Nightmare On Elm Street Remake Trailer...bad cgi, the teen actors look straight out of an abercrombie and fitch ad, and something about the voice on Krueger doesn't sound right to me. The Cinematography doesn't look half bad and Jackie Earl Haley does seem to do the trick with what i see here. We'll see how it all comes together in April, but i really hope Platinum Dunes doesn't fuck this up...please for the love of god, don't fuck it up!!!

Just watched the trailer for Showgirls: The Return and this is one messed up and stupid ass trailer...please god tell me this is a joke.

Got my new 32 in. Sony LCD HDTV and finally hooked up my Blu-ray player...ssswwweeettt!!!

Went to the theater to go see Crazy Heart and loved the hell out of it. Jeff Bridges is phenomenal as Bad Blake and definetely deserves that Oscar. All of the supporting cast is solid from Maggie Gyllenhaal, Colin Farrell, Robert Duvall and all the way down. Enjoyed the story, the characters were engaging, likable and interesting and the direction was rock solid. I'm no country music fan, but the music in the film was well done and i thoroughly enjoyed every single song. Speaking of which, big props to Jeff Bridges for actually singing the songs that are in the film because it ends up giving it that extra little bit of authenticity for me as a viewer. I was impressed by the film overall and it comes Highly Recommended!

Just finished watching 500 Days Of Summer and i really enjoyed it. it's a little sad and melancholy but its also funny, smart, hopeful and has alot of heart to it. Highly Recommended!
