Cool poster-truth be told ,though remakes often fall far short of the originals for whatever the reasons-I can't help but enjoy seeing these titles and their respective characters such as pictured above getting some attention by today's movie goers. + makes for a gr8 night at the Theater/Cinema or Drive -In in my area. suck or not I guess.

consciously or unconsciously I think i've avoided horror movie remakes since that first Texas Chainsaw with Jessica Biel.
i'm not a big horror movie fan sadly. but I do try and give them a shot if they look interesting.
I do wish people would follow Sam Raimi's lead and try to create more original shit like he did with Drag me to Hell but i guess there's no guaranteed audience/money in something like that that doesn't have franchise/history behind the property itself.
